Showing help on 'chr()'

Syntax: chr(INT|STR|LIST <arg>, ...) => STR

This function translates byte values into ASCII characters. Arguments may be integers, strings, or lists of values that can be encoded as bytes.
For wizard programmers, integer byte values may be between 0 and 255. If the programmer is not a wizard, integer byte values must be between 32 and 254; otherwise, E_INVARG is raised. This prevents control characters, newlines, and invalid byte values from being written to the database file by non-trusted individuals.
