Spells say what's in the way, and stuck casts clear themselves

A spell aimed at someone across the room used to fail with "There is nothing to affect." whenever a person or object stood between you. It now names what is blocking it, for example "The magic SCSI bus is in the way." Move around it and cast again.
If a cast was cut off partway, every later cast was refused with "You already have an unfinished ability." Now the next cast you start clears the abandoned one.
