Checkpoint alias regression now covers old-world resaving

Promoted test/run_waif_checkpoint_alias.py into the native tree and added explicit --recover-old mode. Default candidate writing/loading prevents alias retention; old-writer recovery checks pre-getter damaged counts then candidate resaving/second load with outer-owner count unchanged. Root and independent reviewer pass bounded checks; no live objects or results archive.
