gitting speakup

if you don't have git you'll want to emerge it first:

emerge dev-util/git

The next command will git the speakup source tree and put it under the speakup dir in your current dir. I put mine in /usr/src

git clone http://linux-speakup.org/speakup.git

if you get an error about needing curl, emerge curl and put curl in the use flag in /etc/make.conf don't forget to run emerge --newuse git

then follow the installation instructions in INSTALL in the speakup dir.
