Showing help on '@wsv'
@wsv keeps checkpoints of the things you are building, so you can see what you changed and put it back.First put your objects in a workspace:
@wsv create NAME make a workspace
@wsv add NAME OBJECT add something you own (here means the room you are in)
@wsv drop NAME OBJECT take it out again
@wsv list your workspaces
@wsv show NAME what is in one
Then:
@wsv checkpoint NAME [LABEL] save how everything in it is now
@wsv versions NAME list your checkpoints
@wsv diff NAME N what changed since checkpoint N
@wsv plan NAME N [FIELD] [#OBJECT] choose what to put back. FIELD is p:PROPERTY, v:VERB, parents, members or all (the default).
@wsv undo NAME PLAN put it back
Example:
@wsv create cabin
@wsv add cabin here
@wsv checkpoint cabin before painting
@describe here as A freshly painted cabin.
@wsv diff cabin 1
@wsv plan cabin 1 p:description
@wsv undo cabin 2
Good to know:
- Checkpoints and plans share one count, so the plan made after checkpoint 1 is usually number 2. Each workspace keeps your last 8 of each.
- Undo checks each field again and refuses one that changed after you made the plan. It never deletes objects or moves things; move things with the usual commands. Restore parents in a plan of their own.
- Putting back verb code is not available yet.
- A checkpoint adds a small marker property to you and to each object of yours in the workspace.
- Limits: 32 objects per workspace; 256 properties and 64 verbs per object.
- Other people can read or use your workspace only as its r and w flags allow. Your checkpoints stay private to you.
