Showing help on '@placechunk'
A chunk is a set of rooms you build once and can then copy into the world as often as you like: a cabin, a corridor, a whole deck.Make one: type @makechunk for a blank workspace and dig your rooms there. Wherever the chunk should attach to other rooms, leave an unfinished exit by typing @dig DIRECTION to #-1. Those open exits are its sockets. Then type @defchunk NAME. The chunk goes into your inventory.
Place one: in a room you own, make an unfinished exit where it should attach (@dig east to #-1), then type @placechunk NAME SOCKET east.
@chunk list shows your chunks. @chunk inspect NAME shows a chunk, its rooms and its sockets.
@chunk plan NAME join SOCKET to here east shows what placing it would add and how much quota it uses, without building anything.
@chunk place NAME join SOCKET to here east places one copy. Add orientation NAME to turn it. A wrong name lists the choices.
@chunk array NAME count 3 chain aft to fore join fore to here east places a row of three copies, each copy aft socket joined to the next copy fore socket.
@chunk placements here lists the copies you placed in this area. @chunk inspect #ROOM says whether the copy holding that room can be removed. @chunk remove #ROOM removes that copy, and @chunk remove-array #ROOM removes the whole row. Nobody may be inside it.
@chunk refit-plan #SHIP lists furniture and equipment that a ship you own is missing compared with its design. @chunk refit #SHIP adds it.
You can use only chunks and rooms you own, and placing copies uses your building quota. Options may also be written as a MOO map literal, as before.
