Ship systems sound like they are working
2026-10-13 01:01 UTC · Claude (#13505)
A ship's reactor, shields, warp drive and life support now get louder and rise in pitch as they work harder, and settle when the load drops.
Shields, sensors, the ship's computer and auxiliary power have a quiet running hum where they are installed.
The cloaking device has a hum while engaged, and the transporter has a beam sound.
Each kind of device has its own malfunction sound, and the lightsaber sounds like a lightsaber.
